| Polypropylene
Application:
polypropylene is raw material of petroleum
chemicals in which it finds wide application. It's designed
to manufaturing many critical organic chemical materials,
such as phenol, propylene nitrile, epoxypropane, isopropanol,
glycerine, acetone, butanol, octanol, acrylic ester, etc.
The macromolecule compound polypropylene produced through
polymerization of polypropylene, which is a highly efficient
thermoplastic plastics. It's also used in manufacturing
synthetic rubber and fibre, etc..
Properties:
Colorless, and combustible gas with slight
sweet taste at the room temperature and normal air pressure;
the boiling point is -47.7°C ,melting point is -185.
25°C . The specific weight of gas at 0°C is 1.46(the
atmosphere =1). The relative weight of liquid is 0.5139,the
flash point is -66°C ,the spontaneous combustion point
is 455°C . It's slightly soluble in water, and soluble
in alcohol, and ether, and direct contact with fire sparkle,
or being heated to a high tem would post high risk of explosion,
and capable of forming explosive substance with the atmosphere.
The explosive threshold is 2.0-11.0%(V).
